Women Go Digital

Are you an aspiring women entrepreneur, or already own a business that you want to scale up to the next level?

Are you a woman professional, consultant or gig worker looking to leverage digital skills to build your livelihood?

The UK-India Tech Hub* in association with SHEROES has launched Women Go Digital, a structured, step-by-step programme to help aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs, to skill up, build and scale their business ventures. The UK-India Tech Hub* is an initiative launched as part of the UK-India Tech Partnerships to drive inclusive growth, job creation and development in India.

This game-changing programme is free of cost for 100 selected candidates who demonstrate ambition and the willingness to learn new skills to grow, set up and scale their enterprise through advanced digital skills.

As part of the programme, you also get access to training and expertise of some of India's most well-known digital influencers who will show you how to take your business online, build a brand, accept online payments and much more.

The programme will be hosted completely online over a duration of 6 weeks. You must have the drive to learn, and access to an internet connection and a laptop/ desktop/ smartphone to qualify. Excited? Then fill in your application and submit ASAP.

Mentorship is a key ingredient when it comes to supporting women entrepreneurs grow their dreams. As part of the Women Go Digital programme, we invite established women entrepreneurs, senior corporate women, trailblazers and pioneers to join us in this journey as mentors. Mentors bring their expertise, experiences and empathy to the programme via live sessions and conversations.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women across the country, support them in becoming financially independent, and growing their skills and identities as entrepreneurs.

The aim of the Women Go Digital programme is to help participants leverage digital skills, which they can use to:

• - Scale up an existing business

• - Start a business and scale it online

• - Build a pipeline of income through digital livelihood opportunities

• - Apart from technical skills, participants would also learn:

• - How to leverage digital utility tools

• - Build knowledge of government schemes, laws

• - Safe net banking skills

• - Growing your digital identity/ personal branding

The goal of the Women Go Digital program is to help women raise their career and business game, by leveraging the power of digital transformation.

You must be a woman* of 18 years and above, and a resident of India.

• - You must be an existing entrepreneur or aspire to be an entrepreneur

• - You must have access to Internet and a smart device to access the programme

• - You must be willing to commit 2-3 hours every week to be able to successfully complete the programme

• - This pilot programme will be hosted in English. Candidates must be able to speak, write and communicate in English.
